Values & Qualifications

We believe in the inerrant and inspired truth of the Bible, God’s eternal Word. We acknowledge its supreme authority in our lives and strive to instill it in our students.

Verses: Psalms 119:169; Hebrews 4:1; James 1:22-23

We believe that the genuine mark of a true Christian is unconditional love for God and man. We seek to clearly and consistently demonstrate this to our students and encourage them to do likewise.

Verses: Matthew 22:37-39; John 15:12; Galatians 5:14

We believe Christians must live honestly and above reproach. We will be led by integrity, fairness, and consistency in everything we do and will expect the same from our students.

Verses: Psalms 51:6; John 5:12; Romans 12:17; I Peter 2:12

We believe God’s Word defines marriage as a covenantal commitment between one man and one woman, designed to glorify God through the formation of Christian families. We affirm that Biblical precepts and lessons should be taught and supported by parents in the context of Christian homes. We affirm the Biblical account of God’s creative sovereignty as it regards gender identity, sexual orientation, and healthy sexual morality, which takes place in the structure of marriage.

Verses: Genesis 1:28-29; Genesis 2:23-24; Matthew 19: 3-6; Mark 10: 6-9; Ephesians 5:28-32; Deuteronomy 6: 4-9

We believe God’s Word delineates the sanctity of human life, including that of preborn babies, the elderly, and those who are handicapped or disabled.

Verses: Psalm 51

We believe an attitude of respect is essential in a Christian’s life. We teach our students to develop an attitude of respect for God’s Word, for self, for others, for authority, and for the personal property of others.

Verses: Romans 12:10; I Corinthians 3:16-17; Hebrews 13:1-6; Revelation 22:18-19

We value righteousness in everything we do. We are led by Biblical examples of justice, mercy, and humility.

Verses: Deuteronomy 10:12; Micah 6:8

We believe a proper school environment is important to promote successful learning experiences. We strive to produce an environment that is comfortable, disciplined, and conducive to achieving excellence in education.

Verses: I Corinthians 14:40; Colossians 3:21, 23

We believe in the non-prejudicial pursuit of academic excellence and in the non-biased assessment of scholarship. We challenge our staff and students to attain high-performance standards.

Verses: Isaiah 50:4; II Timothy 3:16-17; Galatians 2:11-21; Colossians 3:23

We understand that quality education requires commitment and involvement. We promote the effective involvement of the school board, staff, student body, parents, and community in all appropriate activities.

Verses: Psalms 100:1-2; John 12:26; Romans 7:6

We believe that responsibility requires accountability. We accept ownership of our decisions and actions and instill the same qualities in our students. The admonition of Scripture removes the victim mentality or excuse-making tendency promoted in our culture.

Verses: Psalms 51:1-9; Philippians 4:1; I John 1:9
